Essential New Life - doTERRA Diy Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizers are a convenient, on-the-go solution for cleansing your hands when soap and water are unavailable. In the last few days, people is asking me when I get my hand sanitizer because they are out of stock in stores or online and people is starting to freak out 😱 ⁣

Don’t worry! Here is a homemade version than will not only cleanse your hands, but moisturize them too.⁣

Germs, bugs, microbes, bacteria—no matter what you call them, they’re everywhere. They can be found living on our skin, cell phones, keyboards, door handles, and elsewhere. From a young age, we are taught the importance of washing our hands. The manual removal of bacteria using soap and warm water is still the number one defense mechanism against bacteria and germs that make us sick. While we are out and about, at school, at work, or in public places, we come in contact with millions of these tiny microorganisms, some of which may be harmful. At times, we may not have access to soap and water, so a portable, easy-to-carry sanitizer can often come in handy.⁣ ⁣

Ingredients⁣

* 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel ⁣
* 8–10 drops doTERRA On Guard Protective Blend⁣
* ¼ teaspoon vitamin E oil (optional)⁣
* Purified water⁣

Note: Essential oils can be stored in plastic containers if the essential oils are highly diluted. Make sure they are high quality if you do use plastic containers.⁣ ⁣

Instructions⁣

1. On the plastic spray bottle, combine aloe vera gel and vitamin E oil.⁣
2. Add 10 drops of doTERRA On Guard Protective Blend to aloe vera mixture.⁣
3. Add purified water and mix well to combine. Add more or less water depending on the consistency you want.⁣
4. Place your homemade hand cleanser in your bag, car, or office for an effective, alcohol-free hand cleanser.⁣
